We shall create a 3D underwater ocean scene on a 12”x12”canvas using different background textures and various materials and embellishments.
The 3-hour workshop covers the following techniques:
- The importance of building 3D layers in a mixed media project.
- Creating various background textures/layers for the ocean bed.
- Creating a midground layer for the coral.
- Creating a foreground and a focal point.
- Adding primer and paints to enhance the layers.
- Different painting and highlighting techniques.
- Final finishing touches and embellishing the artwork!
- No prior art experience required.
