Spring break offers children a wonderful opportunity to step away from routine and explore their creativity. At our studio, young artists spend their time discovering new art techniques, creating with their hands, and enjoying meaningful time away from screens. With small groups and mixed skill levels, every child receives personal guidance from an experienced instructor, helping them build confidence, develop artistic skills, and express their imagination in their own unique way.
To get the most out of our camp experience, we ask that parents drop off and pick up their child at the specified camp hours. Students who arrive late or are picked up early may not be able to participate in all the activities offered at the camp.
Main project: Sketching a garden scene (flowers, butterflies, sun, grass)
Learn: watercolor washes, light vs dark, color blending
Main project: Choose and sketch a cute animal (panda, puppy, bunny, fox)
Color using pencil crayons or oil pastels
Main project: Ocean scene with fish, coral, bubbles
Technique: crayon resist for bubbles + painting on canvas
Make 3D paper flowers, butterflies, or birds
Assemble into a textured spring wall décor
Brainstorm: What is your dream place? (rainbow hills, magical house, mountains, sunset lake)
Sketch planning with foreground–background
Watercolor techniques: sky wash, layering, adding details
This camp structure gives children something very valuable — the experience of thinking like artists in different mediums, understanding how each material speaks differently. Each day focuses on one medium + one strong concept, with a finished wall-ready artwork.
One-point perspective (road, buildings, or room interior)
Wet-on-wet for sky and soft snow effects
Negative painting for snowy trees
Creating depth with cool tones
Layering and blending techniques
Creating bold contrasts and highlights
Option: Tropical beach scene or expressive animal portrait
Smooth gradient skies using acrylics
Layering from background to foreground
Adding silhouettes (trees, mountains, birds, or reflection)
Painted background base
Create clay elements (flowers, leaves, animal, or mini landscape)
Assemble into a framed relief artwork
