Painting without boundaries, without a drawing to follow or fill in can be a little intimidating, but very liberating. Once you are acquainted with the techniques working with loose watercolours can be very therapeutic. The easy-going, free flowing, vibrant watercolours have recently become more popularly known for a calming effect on our minds. Creating beautiful, mysterious little landscapes comes as an added bonus as you realise that with a little knowledge you can easily paint on your own and go all out on your own artistic journey.
The 2-hour workshop covers the following techniques:
- We shall begin with understanding our colours, papers and brushes.
- Working out an interesting unusual color scheme for the paintings.
- Paint 3-4 different types of trees on A5 size watercolor paper and convert them into landscapes.
- Convert the paintings into cards (optional).
