Learn to make an easel card with a step-like 3D base, with a flowerbed of little handmade daisies cascading over it (as shown in the picture)
This masterclass consists of two major parts:
- Learning to use a die-cutting machine and nesting frame dies to create a 3D step-like base, which you can choose to mount on an easel card base or a flat base. Using inks to create an aged look for the base.
- Making small realistic paper flowers and leaves and creating a cascading flower bed over the base. Extensive use of craft punches and dies is to be expected 🙂
The 3-hour workshop covers the following techniques:
- Basic techniques of a stand-alone easel card of any size.
- Creating a 3D step formation using frame dies or a regular ruler and paper cutter.
- Using inks to create an aged look on paper.
- Making small daisy flowers and leaves using a craft punch, inks and dry embossing techniques.
- Assembling a cascading arrangement of flowers and leaves on the card.
- No prior art experience required.
- All art supplies and embellishments are provided in the workshop
- Get a hands-on experience using the die-cutting machine, inks, craft punches, etc.
- Take home your breath-taking “Cascading Flowerbed” and cherish your achievement.
